    Dear Brothers, AA

I promise in the name of Almighty Allah (SWA). I received two packets on 11.03.09 which were posted on 03.03.09. I am not saying no. Same day I sent an email to you asking you about balance books. No answer. I called you more than 100 times. How many mails. No response from you. I received first mail from you on 07.06.09 requesting me to reconfirm my address.

Till now I have purchased Islaimc Books more than GBP 1400. I did not face any problem with anyone. Wallahi, till now I did not receive balance books. Here the issue is very simple. The biggest issue you don't response to mails and calls. If response why I should waste my time behind this. Now you are telling me I am fraud. I don't need anything extra from you. Even a single cents. Only I need ordered books.

I was so angry with you, that is made me to write such a mail. I apologise for hurting you. Personally I don't like to others. Please forgive me. Otherwise Allah(SWA) will not for give me.

You have mentiond that I have threatned you. Can you explain How I threatned you?

You only have written to Azhar Academy about me as Fraud. I am asking my books. Thats all.

following is the last mail I received from you. After this no answer from you.

They did post a message on they’re website regarding this so customers placing orders during the month of ramadhan should have been aware of this when placing an order.

    Defending_Islam,

I'm afraid I can't buy into this alegedly 'other side' of the story. Using the month of Ramadan as the execuse to play unfair is doubly damaging. I ordered a few books from Malaysia more than a week after placing my order with DI and received them in just over a week. I regularly order books from Amazon US site and its resellers and know very well how long it takes. I'm only based in Manchester and you don't have any excuse for non delivery. Dozens of customers have problems with DI and you are trying to get away with it by blaming Royal Mail for everything. The prophet and the companions have fought battles in the month of Ramadan. Don't use it an excuse. DI should have placed a temporary home page informing everyone that they are closed in Ramadan. I guess everyone of us have been fasting and praying in Ramadan. If I have been doing this, it does not mean that I should expect any concessions on this account.

Be reasonable and admit that problem at such a large scale reflects problems with the company and I mean serious problems. I don't mean to say that Royal Mail is all innocent. But in all fairness they can only be blamed for an odd delay or non-delivery. The problem with us Muslim worldwide is that we do not have the courage to accept the liability and say that yes we have made mistakes and now we are going to fix it within xxx time. Blames, blames, blames .... that's all we have to offer. Or we start listing faults in other people as a justification for our own behaviour. DI is responsible for all this mess. They don't seem to have the spine to admit it and rectify the issues sepending extra time and money, if required.

Refer to my following order, today (11.03.09) I received only following books.

    5. The Islamic Laws of Animal Slaughter PRE-ORDER
In your following mail dated 07.01.09, it is mentioned that this order has been completed successfully.
But above mentioned 5 books had been posted on 03.03.09. What about other books?

That message was not there before. I checked the webiste after I seen this thread and the first post of this thread is on 18th September so it must have been on or after that date that the message was put up. The date of that message is not 23rd August 2009 which is what it says on the website.

Searching for that page in Google's cache shows that portion of the message wasn't there a few days ago ie. even after Ramadhan.

This snapshot is from the 22 sep, compare it with the news on this current version of the same page.
Sahabah رضي الله عنهم would cling fast to the Sunnah, on account of it being Sunnah, while we discard the Sunnah, on account of it being (just) Sunnah!

, this kind of dishonesty is really unacceptable.

I actually had a similar problem to the rest of you back in May 2008. Same thing, no reply to any emails, etc. It was just a small order, so I figured it wasn't worth the hassle to file complaints and so on.

    Dear Brother, AA.

As I have mentioned before that all Darul Ishaat is trying now is to somehow come clean of all this mess they have amassed over a long period of time. They know what they are doing. In the Quran, Allah says that such people try to deceive Him but they only deceive themselves. I have been working in IT industry for over a decade now and understand where they are coming from.

In their heart of hearts they know that they have done wrong, are doing wrong and (I hope not but facts indicate otherwise) plan to continue doing wrong. Their hearts are sealed. By just coming up excuses and inventing 'proofs' of their innocence, they are just cheating themselves. All this tells is what socio-economic background they come from. You can even see people's family values in their behaviour. Unfortunately quite a majority of Muslims don't display the Islamic spirit in their behaviour. They look like Muslims, follow all the rituals and imitate in their appearance to pose themselves as devout Muslims. But they are million miles away from the spirit of Islam and I have to say sadly that in their behaviour they are worst than a large majority of non-Muslims.

They are trying to fool all of us. A brother has mentioned here that he did not follow this up because the small amount of money he paid wasn't worth the hassle. I would respectfully say that had he shouted about it, it would have saved a few brothers and sisters and could have deterred the culprits from continuing with the practice. I did not pay a big amount either but I want these guys, especially that Waheed Miah guy charged for his crimes. Remember the Prohphet (saw) said that he would have ordered to cut the hands of his own daughter if she had committed the theft. No body is above the law. It is our moral, religious and social duty to bring them to justice.

I don't know who these guys are but I suspect they are bunch of school leavers born to parents who have been doing taxi or running take aways, amassing piles of sterling and ignoring their parental duties. Such children engage in all anti-social activities in their teens and then suddenly find solace in a beard and abbaya and are found in and around mosques. Isn't there a pattern in this which can be witnessed in every town across the UK? These guys probably thought of this lucrative idea and here we are. When will we as a community come of age and deal with issues like these.

They, doing charity work, hunh! They can't mend their behaviour. All the work they might be doing, if any, is of no use. I have never found a Christian involved in Christian missionary work depicting such behaviour. Such people as these Darul Ishaat guys should be identified in our communities and should be brought to justice; period.

They don't have the spine to admit to their wrongdoings and then agree a plan to rectify them. It would involve some effort (and probably some extra money) to clean this mess up but one has to face the consequences of one's actions.

Agree completely. Any muslim who cheats another muslim knowingly is from amongst the lowlifes. Greedy lowlifes at that! It's that simple. When akhlaaq are this disgusting, I worry about the Imaan of such cretins.

No wonder this Ummah is in the sorry state it's in.

These Darul Ishaat guys are working hard to amuse us and remain in the news. When I ordered the book, I looked at the quantity displayed and it showed that 35 items were in stock. When I placed the order, the quantity displayed on the product details page was 34 which seems logical. My order history page displayed the status of my order as processed. When I logged on today to see what is going on, if anything, I found the status changed to Backordered. I immediately went to the product details page and it still displays the quantity available as 34. Look at the two images and keep smiling.
