An excellent article on 'Life after Ramadan' by Dr. Muhammad Mahmud Mansur:

    Read it: http://www.aapkaislam.com/ramadan/13...r-ramadan.html

Thank you for the article brother. I appreciate reading about fasting as one of my ways of remaining steadfast after Ramahdan is to continue fasting at least 2 days a week. It is such a blessing.

Yes, following Ramadan I can feel my spritual strength in putting spirit over physcial. I don't always do the 2 days a week because I am human hehe but I do at least 1 per week to keep my spirit strong.

Exclamation Re: Remaining Steadfast after Ramadaan

Subhaanallah only 6 months to go until Ramadan 2012. The Sahaba used to prepare 6 months in advance for the coming of the blessed month, so now is the time we should be preparing for the coming of Ramadan, by doing thefollowing:

    1. Ensuring we are fulfilling all of our fard prayers and obligations.

    2. Increasing in Sunnah and Nawafil prayers.

    3. Increasing in glorification and dhikr of Allah.

    4. Increasing in recitation of Qur'an.

    5. Implementing daily Sunnah's and Memorising dua's and adkhar.

    6. Controlling our body parts against sin. Controlling the eyes not to see what it shouldnt. Our ears not to hear what it shouldnt. Our groins not to indluge in what it shouldnt. Our hands not to do what it shouldnt and our feet not to walk towards what it shouldnt and most of all our tongues against hurting another, backbiting, slander, swearing etc.

May Allah enable us to prepare now so that by the time Ramadan comes we are fully ready to make the best of every second of the blessed month. Ameen

Of course, the month of Ramadan revive the faith by performing namaz, fast and like some other Ibadat. but we need to keep this after ramadan. It is a sign of a good Muslim, and this way will lead to us towards Janna.
