Yh, Hadhrat has Khilafat from Hadhrat Maulana Isma'il Wadee saheb.

As bro said Hadhrat usually spends his Ramadhaan abroad in the UK/Canada, this year he spent the full month in Canada, and only came over to UK for a few days, before he went, he has a close connection with my father/grandfather..

Hadhrat's Bayaans from Ramadhaan are available here; http://www.smacanada.ca/sma/audio.asp

Some info on the ulema of Gujarat.

    Salaam Alaykum
Hazrat Mufti Abdul Raheem Lajpuri Sahib (r.a) was known as the grand Mufti of Gujarat. He spent most of his life in Rander (Surat) teaching in Darul Uloom Jameah Hussainiyah. Alhamdulillah I met with him when I was a youngster, and also when he was very old. A very pious scholar of Allah with great Ilm and taqwaa. Very soft hearted person who had a deep love for the ummah and the prophet (s.a.w).

He studied under great scholars such as Hazrat Moulana Anwar Shah Kashmiri (r.a). He did khidmah alongside some great Ulema of Gujarat like Hazrat Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib (r.a) Mohtameem of Jameah Hussainiyah Rander, Sheikh-ul Hadeeth Sahib Hazrat Moulana Ahmadullah Sahib (r.a), Hazrat Moulana Bursidi Sahib (r.a), etc, etc. He was a class mate of Hazrat Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib (r.a).

When I was a child I went to meet Hazrat Mufti Sahib (r.a), at that time he had just completed a few volumes of his Fatawa kitaab in English - 'Fatawah Raheemiyah'. He give me three volumes as a gift which I still have on my bookshelf.

When I went to visit him in Rander, his special student Hazrat Moulana Mufti Ikram-ul-haq Sahib (d.b) of Blackburn was still studying under him. I remember him opening up all the books for Hazrat Mufti Sahib (r.a.) finding Islamic knowledge for Fatwa’s, etc. Mashallah.

I had lunch with Mufti Abdul Raheem Sahib (r.a) and he gave me and my father plenty of duaas. May Allah shower his mercy on him and all his family. Ameen.

Hazrat Muft Ikram-ul-Haq Sahib is the son of Sheikh Ul Hadeeth Hazrat Moulana Islam-ul-Haq Sahib (r.a). Sheikh Ul Hadeeth Hazrat Moulana Islam-ul-Haq Sahib (r.a) did the Khidmah of deen in Rander, Gujarat and then moved to Bolton, England to give Daars in Hadeeth at Darul-uloom Bury. Hazrat Sheikh Ul Hadeeth Hazrat Moulana Islam-ul-Haq Sahib (r.a) taught Bukhari Shareef at Darul-ul-oom Bury for many years, and later died in Madinah Munawwarah. May Allah grant him a loft status in Jannah. Ameen.

Sheikh Ul Hadeeth Hazrat Moulana Islam-ul-Haq Sahib also has another son Hazrat Moulana Ziya-ul-Haq Sahib (d.b), who teaches kitaabs such as usool in Darul-ul-oom Bury, and also books of Hadeeth in Bolton. May Allah grant him a long life. Ameen. He too studied at Jameah Hussainiyah Rander under pious scholars such as Hazrat Moulana Mahmood Shabbir Saeed Sahib (d.b) who is currently the Mohtameem (principal) of Jamiyah Hussainiyah (Rander).

Hazrat Moulana Mahmood Shabbir Saeed Sahib (d.b) is the eldest son of Hazrat Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib (r.a). His father Hazrat Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib (r.a) gave many years’ service to the people of Gujarat. He was the principal of Jameah Hussainiyah Rander. Also a Khalifah of Hazrat Moulana Maseehullah Khan Sahib Jalalabadee (r.a). He was such a pious and humble person that no one knew that he was given Khilafat from Hazrat Moulana Masheehullah Khan Sahib (r.a) until after Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib (r.a) died. When students from Gujarat would go for Isslah and ilm to Hazrat Moulana Maseehullah Khan Sahib (r.a) in Jalalabad, he would refer them back to Hazrat Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib (r.a) and say: 'Why have you come here when you have a person like Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib in Gujarat?'. Subhanallah.

Hazrat Moulana Saeed Sahib had 5 sons. One of which died at an early age. His name was Ismaeel. His other children are:-

Hazrat Moulana Mahmood Shabbir Sahib (d.b) - principal of Jameah Hussianyah Rander (after Hazrat Moulana Ismaeel Mulla Sahib r.a)
Moulana Yunus Saeed Sahib (d.b) - who is doing the khidmah of deen in San Francisco, California, USA.
Hafiz Yusuf Saeed Sahib (d.b) - who also teaches Hiz Classes in Jameah Hussianyah Rander. He previously worked in Saudi Arabia.
Haji Ibraheem Saeed Sahib (d.b) - who lives in Preston, Lancashire, England.
Hazrat Moulana Saeed Sahib had 2 daughters. One who lives in in Rander India and another in London.
Scholars such as Hazrat Moulana Yusuf Motala Sahib (d.b), Hazrat Moulana Hasim Johgwari Sahib (d.b), Hazrat Moulana Abdul Raheem Motala Sahib (d.b) have all studied under Hazrat Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib (r.a). Hazrat Moulana Saeed Sahib's family has been linked by some to Tabay-Tabeen's that came to the North part of India after the time of Rasool-ullah (s.a.w).

Hazrat Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib (r.a) had a lot of rauub. Students would respect him a lot and he looked after all his students like his own children. The majority of scholars in our communities who have a Gujarati background (in the UK, South Africa) have studied under Hazrat Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib (r.a). He had a khaas way of doing tarbeeyah of his students.

Hazrat Moulana Saeed Sahib (r.a) and his forefathers’ eradicated a lot of biddat and evil from Rander and the surrounding areas. They put an end to women wearing Saree's etc and played a big part in protecting our deen in Gujarat. May Allah grant them reward.

Hazrat Moulana Mohammed Saeed Sahib (r.a) was the son of Hakeem Mufti Ibraheem Saeed Sahib (r.a). Hazrat Hakeem Ibraheem Sahib was the principal of Jameah Hussainiyah Rander before his son. He was appointed as a Qazi (Judge) by the Muslim Sultan of that time for Rander (Surat) and the surrounding areas. He was a very pious scholar of Allah who had great connections to Sheikh-ul-hind. He did a lot of khidmah for the people of South Africa and Rangoon and had some Khass mureeds in these countries. He has been classed as a khaleefa of Hazrat Sheikh Ul Hind Maulana Mahmood ul Hasan Sahib (r.a). His name has been mentioned on some very old publications which he distributed in Gujarat for Hazrat Sheikh Ul Hind (r.a). Hakeem Mufti Ibraheem Saeed Sahib (r.a) would debate with the British on the embankments of Surat for the protection of Deen and the protection of India. May Allah shower his mercy on him and his family. Ameen

Hakeem Mufti Ibraheem Saeed Sahib (r.a) was the son of Hazrat Moulana Ismaeel Saeed Sahib (r.a) who also gave khidmah in Jameah Hussainiyah Rander. It was his brother Hazrat Moulana Hussain Sahib (r.a) who started Jamiyah Hussainiyah Rander. He only had one son who died at an early age, therefore his side of the family did not continue.

When Hazrat Moulana Hussain Sahib (r.a) and his family started the Darul-uloom in Rander, they would teach on horses and carts - as they had no building or place to teach. It was only later on that they managed to purchase a building for the khidmah of Deen.

It was through the effort of Hazrat Moulana Hussain Sahib (r.a) and his family that deen spread through Rander, Surat and the surrounding areas. It is said that they use to travel to small villages on horses and carts to do khidmah of deen. Many times people would throw things at them and shout at them, but they would carry on doing their work. Subhanallah.
May Allah shower his mercy on all of our pious scholars.
If any of your friends, family or teachers have studied at Jamiyah Husseinyah (Rander) under these or any other pious scholars, please do take some time out and share. Jazzakallah
    Was-sallam
