Want Reward of Fasting for the WHOLE YEAR?

Subhanallah just 6 days of fasting in the month of Shawwal can gain us the reward of a WHOLE years of fasting. In the UK we have until the 29th of September to fast the 6 fasts of Shwwal.

Is it true that during fasting time or Ramadan that even swallowing of saliva is avoided? the fasting time is not complete when someone disobey the rules?

Greetings Francisaso,

Swallowing saliva is fine as long as it is not excessive or done to try and quench thirst etc. Swallowing mucus is fine to. However swallowing blood due to bleeding gums may break the fast especially if saliva turns red due to blood. Water may also not be swallowed even when gargling.
