Do people think that they will be left (at ease) only on their saying, “We believe” and will not be put to any test?

    Assalam o alaikum,

I have asked this question elsewhere as well.. sorry for the repetition.

How is this different from Zainab Academy being run by Aalimah Humera and her husband Shaykh Ahmad who are also students of Shaykh Zulfiqar. Based on their website and www.zainabacademy.org and also from what my relatives have told me, that institute is being overseen by Shaykh Zulfiqar himself.

Is this part of that organisation? or something separate. From what i can tell Zainab Academy offers exactly the same thing in English and Urdu. If it is separate why are you using similar names? Wont that confuse people who are looking for one and find another... i.e if people want to search for Zainab Academy, just because of a "y" they land at your site. You can see what I am saying.

Its like opening a new site as sunnispath instead of sunnipath ..

    Very wierd.

    Sorry for any offense.

I don't know either one of them but Masha'Allah these are good initiatives and on the face of it Zainab Academy is in Pakistan while this course is in Houston (Texas).

We need more of these things, Insha'Allah. Very good stuff

Where are the hundreds of female scholars in UK who come of the line every year? Surely this is something simple to set up...

Question Re: Classical Islamic Learning Course for *Women* (in person, and via teleconference)

Oh no doubt we cant have enough of these programs. Please dont get me wrong, we should support every deeni initiative.

However, the confusion over Zainab and Zaynab academy is something people have approached me with.

Zainab with an "I" is actually based in the US. Aalima Humera and her husband they travel extensively in the US, to over 25 states including Houston, TX as well as to Canada and UK.

They have been doing this work under "Zainab Academy" and that name Zainab Academy or Zainab center is almost synonymous with them.

My only concern is that this may lead to further confusion with people who want one and get another. Again as I said before, people looking for "Zaytuna Institute of Shaykh Hamza" will be confused if somebody opens up "Zaytuna"h" Institute" and offers same courses.

Again, sorry for any offense to any sister. None is intended.

    Sister,

No need for anyone to get offended we are just discussing things.

Why does it matter? One institute is in Pakistan and the other is in Houston and we as Muslims are commanded in the Qur'aan & Sunnah to:

    La Tajassasu & Wala Tahassasu

What if there is rift between the two or there isn't one and its simply a coincidence?

    What difference does it make?

I am Sorry to get involved in this discussion which has nothing to do with me o Sorry for the intrusion

They are both in the US... The difference I guess would be the fact that some students who have taken classes with Zainab Academy have approached me and they are not sure if this new one is the same or not... since they have received emails about the classes as well...

Its not tajassus... avoidance of confusion.
