Is Nahw al Wadih more comprehensive than Hidayat an Nahw?

Does Hidayat un Nahw cover fewer topics in Nahw than an Nahw al Wadih? Or do they cover the same topics?

Which one would be more beneficial to study if one could only do one?

Anyone know?

nahwul wadih is easy and it has examples and exercises in it.hidayatun nahw doesnt have examples..but both are good and i think hidayatun nahw is really good though

if i had to draw a conclusion i would definitely say hidayatun nahw is good,coz i dont think u'll understand much with nahw wadih, hidayatun nahw makes you crack ur head and any ibara you read after it will be easy to u'stand and also it depends on which teacher you get..plus with hidayatun nahw we got notes from so many books so it was great alhamdulillah..

No the question has not been answered. The question was not which book was better and why but, rather, if Nahw al Wadih is more COMPREHENSIVE than Hidaayatan Nahw (i.e. more comprehensive in the sense that it covers more topics).

If that is the case, then it is strange because there are quite a few people who, based on their posts in other threads regarding Hidaayatan Nahw and Nahw al Wadih, indicate a familiarity with BOTH and in fact have commented on some of the differences in the texts but still do not answer the question of whether or not Nahw al Wadih and, more specifically, which version of it (i.e. Primary vs. Secondary), is or is not more comprehensive than Hidaayatan Nahw in the way that the OP has defined the term comprehensive.

is it better than hidayatun nahw ? no

nahwul wadih almost has the same topics with a few diiferences but its(nahw wadih) in detail i.e each topic has so many sub-topics and u can self study it plus its good for a beginner..if u had not done any other nahw books before.hidayatun nahw has the same topics as mentioned with a few differences and you cannot understand it withou a teacher,and if you had not done any nahw books before it will be difficult to do hidayatun nah..

anyweyz this question was asked 2 years back the sister would have chosen which book to do..but still others can benefit
