I studied Quranic Therapy for a year and helped treat several people suffering from various afflictions.

Before one can be treated it first has to be determined whether or not their affliction is spiritual or physical. Once dtermined it is spiritual it can be treated theough various dhikrs and ayats of Quran.

The majority of cases I helped treat were mental illnesses (e.g. Schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, depression)

I also dealt with a few cases that were caused by the use of drugs.

In every case where a person claimed to have a mental illness, the western doctors prescribed medications which made their condition worse, and thus dependent on the drugs to keep them sane.

once they submitted to our care, they were to cease using the meds prescribed to them. after the meds were out of their systems they began their prescribed regiment of dhikr and recitation.

If they could not to the recitation and dhikr themselves, a family member or doctor in training would do it for them until they were capable of doing it themselves.

Every person who stuck to their prescribed dhikr and recitation became completely cured of their "mental illness" within a year or less in many cases.

I am witness that many of these mental illnesses that exist in the west are actually spiritual illnesses and can be cured with the proper ibada.

Most mental illnesses are an invention of the materialist west.

Quranic therapy consists of implementing a prescribed regiment of adhkar and recitation of Quranic ayats daily.

The prescriptions come from either the Sheikh himself or a person trained by the sheikh or his khalifas.

I personally have not been authorized to prescribe any treatments, but I have administered treatment to several people over the years who sought our help.

These people were all locals, or traveled to various locations specifically for treatment.

I wish that I could help all of you people who are emailing me about this, but I am limited in what I can do.

The only advice I can give you is to keep up on your ibada, read dhalail ul khairat daily and stay in dhikr.

these things are very sensitive and generally can not be handled over the internet.

Well ... according to the west, everything has to be classified as a disorder.

    Brothers & Sisters,

Some of you may have genuine health problems as these issues are addressed in Islamic, Indian, Chinese & Homeopathic medicine.

So even if you choose to believe that western medicine is a con and a conspiracy, trust other systems.

The only difference I find is Western medicine seems to cure the symptoms most of the time while other systems try to get to the root-cause and assist the body’s natural ability to cure itself.

Please do not ignore genuine medical advice. You can seek to get advice from a Shaykh or someone else on the side and it shouldn't interfere with your normal therapy.

The simplest thing for you to do (if you suspect something strange) is NOT TO SPEND TIME ALONE and don't be hanging around idly.

    Salam,

as I said before, I am not authorized by my Sheikh to prescribe any treatment.

I do know there are particular ayat He uses when treating schizophrenia, but I do not know which ones.

I treated a few people with Schizophrenia, and only one was succesful. The others failed because they abandoned their treatment, or went back to the meds, or began to use narcotics. Treating these people took a great toll on me physically, mentally, and spritualy. The treatment took up to year for these people and many of them had a very limited understanding of our deen.

All the prescriptions I administered wher given out by the khalifas and they were all different, due to the different circumstances of each case. Meds and drug use have a tendancy to make a person harder or even impossible to cure.

Other factors also came into play such as the persons adhearance to the sharia, listening to western music, and even ones aqeedah.

I gave bro hamdi some genaral advice which has been given to us by our sheikh:

    1) avoid movies and tv shows and books dealing with black magic (Harry Potter, Lord of the rings), keep these things as far away from yourself and your families as possible.

    2) maintain all of your daily fardh acts (salah, fasting)

    3) maintain all additional sunnat prayers

    4) stay in dhikr (generally at least 500 shahadah, and 500 darood daily)

    5) recitation of Quran daily

    6) recitation of dhalail ul khairat daily

I wish I could help all of you but I am limited due to our distances, and the confines of internet communication.
