help! info needed on authenticity of hadiht.

assalamualaikum brothers and sisters.

i am a hanafi muqallid. on orkut under zakir naik community i created a post:

where i tried to proove that saying ameen silently in salah is sunnah. but ghair muqallids have prooved that the ahadiths quoted by ulema e ahnaf are all zaeef. stating that hafidh ibn hajr asqalani and sheikh albani have classified those hadiths as zaeef. are there any muhaddiths who said hadiths appearing in sunnan abu daud, at tirmidhi, musnad ahmed regarding saying ameen silently in salah as sahih/hasan?

brother, Hafidh Ibn Hajr Asqalaani Rahimahullah was Shafii, and among shafiis, Ameen should be said out loudly ( but not too loud as Ghair Muqallideen do ) . Secondly, in Sharh Nukhbatul Fikr, written by the same Hafidh Ibn Hajr, he has mentioned a law of Hadeeth that if a hadeeth is weak in Sanad, but a Mujtahid has done "Ih'tijaj" meaning deduced a meaning from it, then it's weakness goes away. Similarly, there's another usool of hadeeth that if a Hadeeth is weak in Sanad, but a group from the Ummah has been acting upon it since the time of salaf, then the hadeeth becomes sahih.

It's also worth noting that Allamah-Albani Rahimahullah was impressed by Al-Raudhatun Nadiyyah of Ghair muqallideen of India, and hence he also was a Muta'assib (prejudiced) Ghair Muqallid. Therefore, his words are not reliable in this regard.

Both are sunnah according to different madhhahib, so there is no reason for argumentation.
