Default Is praying in Mazaar-e-sharif considered as Shirk?

    Dear Brothers and sisters

As-Salamu Alaykum wa rahmatulallahi waba raqaatuhu

I heard that going to Mazaar e sharif of Muslim saints is counted as Shirk i.e. praying to someone or praying through someone is forbidden.

"However, if one seeks the help of a Prophet, saint or any other creation of Allah believing him to be omnipotent like Allah, then this polytheism (shirk) and can never be considered permissible. Similarly, one believes that Allah alone is Omnipotent, but also believes that He has delegated a part of His power to an angel, a Prophet or a saint who exercises full and independent authority in that area, then this will also be considered Shirk, and thus forbidden." Sister,

    Your question is slightly ambigous.

By praying I think you mean making dua.

    1) What is the dua?
    2) What are the exact words being said?
    3) Praying through someone? What are the exact words?

And Insha'Allah someone will provide you with the correct answer and reference from Qur'aan and Sunnah.
