Hi Italian Guy,
here are a set of links [same video in parts] that explains how the Quran was revealed and compiled in a Book; it gives proofs of it's historical authenticity too; specifically see from 4:49 onwards of part 6 to hear of how the vast majority of orientalists agree that the Quran is authentic as in it is the same one now as the one conveyed by Muhammad [saw]; it talks of various ancient manuscripts too of the Quran dating back to the Islamic 1st century?:

Since you are Catholic this might just be more of a point of curiosity for you, but this guy really bothered Protestants:

There are plenty out there like him. I love how they always make sure to state that they can recite entire sections of the Bible, as if it gets you into heaven faster. I know plenty of people including myself that have memorized svcripture, the problem is wether they are Christian or Muslim most of the ones who recite mass amounts of scripture can't even understand it. They learn to use it for appologetics or against others whom don't agree with them as a defense tactic. I love those type, they're my favorite. So fun to converse with, get them all worked up and then walk away with a smile on my face knowing I actually have peace in my heart and they spend their entire life memorizing and arguing....sad existance if you ask me. I spend my time glorifying God and seeking more knowledge of Him, not verbaly bashing others for what they believe.
Have you ever seen the documentary "Religulous"? with Bill Mayer.
The Christian dude.
