Imam ash-Sha'rawi used to say "anyone who tells you I want to rule in the name of Islam" he is a liar!

The point is not to rule in the name of Islam but to actually be ruled by the princples of justice and truth and goodness. That is what we should want, not to rule others, but for the self to be ruled by those principles.
