If so, I had gotten it ordered through my library (to check out), and just got an email from the library a couple of days ago telling me they've located and ordered it. So insha'allah I plan on picking it up tomorrow and begin reading it.

I read this 'many' years ago... around 1993 (could never forget the pink cover!)

Enigma I flicked through the book many years ago…actually I think I saw it at zam zam bookstore had a good look….was going to buy it but then looked at the price and thought woah that’s a bit expensive and left it…so tell me what is mentioned that is controversial…..actually a lot of the deap tasawuff stuff is very controversial….its above the average layperson’s head…especially issues related to the takwini nizaam….i came across something of this nature a few days ago and will inshallah post it…

It was published in January 1986 by the Islamic Foundation. The author is not Mujaddid Alf Thani rahmatullah alayhi.

I've checked and no longer have the book. As far as I can recall, it wasn't a read for the layman (this is my personal opinion). It delves into the differences of Wahdatul wujood and wahdatush-shuhood.

That’s what I remember…there was a lengthy piece on the issue of wahdatal wujood and shuhood and when I read it it was mind boogling. So I thought forget the book. But inshallah enigma post some parts from the book for us…or u can email them to me if its too controversial…
