I think there is indeed some confusion here. The 'new' news is the alleged attemted attack on the cartoonist, not some new publication of the actual cartoons.

We need to be a little careful, sometimes such rumours tend to snowball into bigger things. May Allah SWT guide us all. Ameen.

i think it is best to just ignore the shananigans of the kuffar; they just love to rub us up the wrong way and nothing pleases them more when they see us squirm, so best is not to expose ourselves to their propaganda media in the first place

ofcourse we should keep in touch as to what is happening to muslims worldwide, but I'm sure there are some non-provacative media sources out there ...

Arresting racists is perhaps not the issue we should have a quarrel with. Maybe what you mean to point out is their double standards in claiming to stand for free speech when it goes intheir favour, but forgetting conveniently when others express views they would rather not hear. Such as Palestinian rights, Israeli abuses, or alternative views of the second world war.

And I would suggest you modify your emotions, since Islam does not teach us to hate people, but their actions. Allah SWT loves all His creation, so should we. It's just that some are misguided, and we wish them true guidance.
