Too bad they could have used their methods less harshly and make more positive work by the enthusiasm they created among the youngsters.

This is good but no doubt they'll be back with another provocation. No notable scholar and certainly no awliyah have backed this lunatic sect so they can never succeed in the long term.
I've said it before, I wouldn't be surprised if you see Mr Chaudhury in some government capacity as social cohesion minister after he's " seen the error of his ways". This has happened before with some ex members and it'll happen with others like him in the future.
This is all one sick game with these people.

Bro u need to chill out a bit….bro ive met a lot of sincere people who initially started off with them and due to sincerity came out and found a better path…..bro I agree they lack spirituality etc but there are ways of dealing with them.

brother,
I agree there are possibly well meaning naive brothers and sisters in this organisation who joined under the pretence that they could speak up using this group as some sort of platform. However, the crux of the matter is that their leader is not a very wise person. In fact, he's rather dumb to be going round shooting his mouth off the way he is. What sort of group continuously has an abrasive stance on almost any issue?
If they can't see that their stance on issues is causing a backlash against innocent muslims in different parts of the UK then I have no hope for them.
Look at their history brother, and look who has left them and started new organisations. It doesn't bode well does it?
Yes, once an extremist, always an extremist - just opposite sides! It is a deficiency of intellect and a nafsi desire.
Do you have any names of ex-Al-Muhajiroon who have converted to the opposite extreme?
There are famous HTs like Ed Husain, Majid Nawaz and Rashad Ali...but I suppose they are similar though nowhere as extreme.

Those are the same ones. As you say, 2 types of extremists, just on opposite sides. The common aim for both is to drag Islam through the mud. This goes much deeper and into what I would class as psychological issues. Both sides exhibit low self esteem and narcisistic behaviour. It's classic. Both suffer from an identity crisis. Most likely bullied as kids. Then again, Ed Hussain has the type of face you'd want to slap anyway.
Sorry! couldn't help that last bit!![]()
Get in line brother.
But HT is not extremist. More likely, those with deficiencies gravitate to various groups, and then when they find their gravitation towards extreme is not satisfied, or their egos is not sufficiently placated, they matriculate out and seek other things.
Heard about this.. Didn't really think that why would get banned and under the terrorism act. Didn't see anything in the form of terrorism from them. Their methods maybe poor but i can't say they were extreme...
I think the reason why HT are on the low is because they fear of a ban aswel...

Because this is a hypocritical world we live in. The EDL openly march outside masjids but no ban aimed at them. Talking heads on TV shows openly attack any aspect of Islam like it's gaming season, but no such ban.
It's this hypocrisy that this group is attacking, but the way in which they have gone about it, is just plain wrong. Marching at a funeral/memorial service???? At least maintain some form of dignity.
The irony is that Islamophobic ignorants call for a return to "a Christian country". I would like to point out to these people that Jesus prostrated when he prayed, fasted, didn't eat pork, didn't consume wine, gave charity.....if he was to return to earth and to the UK who would he think were his followers? The "Christians" or the muslims who mimic his actions in their lifestyle????
This doesn't even register with them because they are blinded by hate. When a heart is this sealed how can guidance come?
