    Default Dr Zakir Naik

    Salams

    Does anyone know which madhab he is affiliated to. Personally im into Shaykh Hamza Yusuf writings and lectures but im curious about Zakir Naik because i see his DVDs and stuff all over the Islamic goods shop in Manchester. Is he Salafi? Hes on Peace TV which seems to be pretty Salafi to me and i think its funded by Saudi but im not sure. Anyone know?

    He doesn't follow a Madhab. Therefore, he should be avoided when it comes to discussions of fiqh, although he is quite good in terms of da`wah.

    He claims he is a Pakka Hanafi, a Pakka Shafi'i, a Pakka Hanbali and a Pakka Maliki.
