As salaamu alaykum.
Is it permissible for one to read/recite the Quran in a non-Muslim cemetary?
I ask this because a very dear acquaintance of mine has no place that is quiet enough to memorize the Quran. There is a (non-Muslim) cemetary directly in front of his house. It is much like a park, save for the fact that it is full of graves. It is quiet and peaceful and he would like to go there for a few hours a day to memorize the Quran because at home there is just too much noise and too many distractions, however, he is not sure if it is permissible to take the Mushaf there with him or to recite it aloud SOLELY for purposes of memorization (he is not intending on reciting "to" the graves).
Would it be permissible for this dear acquaintance of mine to go to a non-Muslim cemetary and simply use the peace, quiet, and solitude of the cemetary for this purpose? Or is it impermissible since it is a non-Muslim cemetary?
If a qualified person could answer this, I would appreciate it (insha'allah).
Jazakallahu Khair.
Wa'salaam.

actuelly having no place, and going to the place which is infront of his house is different.
