Bashariyyat of Holy Messenger - Pir Mehr Ali

Assalam o alaykum,

The video has been watched many times and Arab scholars "don't endorse 'Barelwi' 'aqidah".

There is no problem by saying Holy Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) is nur if it is meant that nur is attribute. His teachings are nur, his character is nur, the message he brought is nur. He is a nur for whole of the mankind.

Scholars have used this term in this sense until Barelwis showed up on the scene and they denied the Bashariyyat of Holy Nabi by stating that he was only a bashar outwardly and his haqiqat was nur.

Sorry to disappoint but these scholars don't endorse the Barelwi 'aqidah. Don't be fooled by the word nur. Bring forth clear statements from books of 'aqidah stating that Holy Messenger was nur in haqiqat and bashar just outwardly.

Shaykh Yahya Ninowy clearly stated in his ‘Aqidah Tahawiyyah lectures that, "whoever believes Holy Messenger is a Nur (as in Photons and light) is a Kafir".

Exactly!!
What has always confused me is that the exact word which Allah Ta'ala has used in the Qur'an is exactly what they deny (bashar), and if it was such an important part of aqeedah that Rasoolullah was not bashar then why didn't the mufassireen point that out over here.

And please dont try and imply that Sayyidi Murshido-murshidi Pir Sayyid Mehr Ali Shah does not consider the Holy Prophet to be 'nur'.

the brealwis say the prophet (saw) only said this so that the quraish will follow him. yes thats right the prophet (saw) lied to the musriks. austrafruallah. they also use surah maida verse 15 where Allah (swt) says to the nearest meaning ' we have sent a light and a book (quran)' to support their beleifs

In this video the Shaykh clearly says that Madina was Literally
illuminated when Prophet(peace be upon him) entered Al Madina..
The words used by the Shaykh show that the Nur which he is talking
about is not just the Nur of guidance but something more..
