EURO-SUNNI Summit UK in April (and more)

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

Brother Umar_Italy and my humble self envisage to visit UK in April for a week or two.

We would like to organize, amongst others, a little meeting with all brothers who are participating and/or interested in the EURO-SUNNI project. We could then discuss the future of our project, ways to improve it, strengthen our ties of brotherhood and just have some nice time together. Insha Allah, we hope for Uncle Colonel_Hardstone to also be amongst us then.

Besides that we would also like to use this occasion insha Allah for meeting some brothers like e.g. London786, xs11ax and whoever else is interested. Umar_Italy proposed to visit a few shuyukh and maybe poke around in a few Islamic book shops. (We need someone guiding us around probably..)

We want to stay at least one week if possible so we're not forced to do one big meeting, instead we can do little meetings and so on.

Basically we would like to use this thread for organizational matters, to see who wants to come, where to meet, where we can eat/sleep, etc. etc.

If someone wants to discuss something by email you're free to email us. (Ask the mods to pass on the addresses if necessary.)

Brother we would just like to meet you and other brothers, and spend some time together, so we may just come Bradford for a pair of days if you like the idea. ;-)

Let me know when you're coming to Birmingham. I recommend you visit Small Heath - lots of Mosques, Islamic shops and HMC certified restaurants - the area appears more Islamic than many Muslim countries!
