I'm born into a Deobandi family so naturally I also follow Deobandi Ulama but my family aren't particularly religious so I don't understand what else there is to follow other than Deoband? I mean, I don't have any intentions of switching or anything, I'm just confused about how a lot of Deobandi Ulama go to pray in Saudi Arabia by the Shaykhs of the holy cities and surely they are not Deobandi as they haven't studied in Dar ul uloom Deoband? Also, I know that the Dar ul Ulooms in the UK in places such as Leicester, Bradford, Bury etc are also following Deobandi tradition but...to cut it short, people who are not Deobandi are not necessarily following incorrect beliefs are they? It's not a different sect of Islam, so what is it? I'm really confused.
