Muhtar Holland << is he a reliable translator and are his works of Imam Abdul Qadir Jilani for example based on authentic manuscripts could someone comment on his Aqeedah aswell ,

Hopefully somebody who actually knows him can reply - that would probably be the best reply you could get after him himself seeing this thread and replying :P
I liked his translations (what I've read of them), except the prices :P. I have heard that he's an Athari in aqeedah and called as shaykh (so said a die-hard Ashari).
I like his translations, too. Except that it'll put a whole in ya pocket. His translations were among the first that I've read in Tazkiyyatun Nafs.
