i want to discuss this issue in depth

Psychology tells us that our behaviors are all affected by multiple causes

whatever they may be

when we have behavioral disorders, and emotional illnesses, its is labeled as a mental illness

however
the method for correcting this illness seems to still be in debate

Psychologist may simply say, yes something is not right with you...

Psychiatrist go to the extent to say, yes something is not right with you and you need medication to fix what is not right with you

however if we look at common illness that are treated by psychiatrist, we will notice that each prescription prescribed for each illness seems to be alarmingly alike

basically
in psychiatry
an illness is basically all the same
and the drugs used to treat each illness basically functions in the same way

(cutting off neurotransmitters to the brain to stop brain functions and over activity or shutting down the flow of dopamine receptors for lower alertness in the brain and body, etc)

whats the question?

these drugs are in question...

as we know
drugs are a multi-billion dollar industry
psychiatrist are making the real bucks off of one patient in an hour

lots of money just to prescribe drugs

statistically, most people do not get cured from these drugs

in actuality, the drugs pose more risk to the patients then they do actually to cure them of anything let alone treat them and correct them

morphine is still used today, a drug that was banned for murdering many patients seeking treatment

just an example of the extent of drugs that are used today by these so called doctors, respectively

what is your take on all of this

is the whole chemical imbalance theory all a market as well as the drug prescriptions for it?

is there not a better way to help these patients without the use of pharmaceuticals?

for those that are still not convinced
