08 AUGUST 2004 STOP POLICE TERROR DENIAL OF JUSTICE CONFERENCE
Eight months ago, eight Police officers brutally assaulted a Muslim man
in his Tooting home. To this day, no Police officers have been
suspended
over this incident, let alone charged...IS THIS JUSTICE?
Ms Muddassar Arani, leading Muslim lawyer as recently featured on BBC
Panorama, will be speaking at this event in her first public appearance
since the airing of the BBC Panorama documentary.

14's) - FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.

- Ms Muddassar Arani (leading Human Rights and Terrorism lawyer, as
recently featured on BBC Panorama)
- Dr Adnan Siddiqui (first hand medical witness of Police brutality)
- Makbool Javaid (former Principal Legal Officers of the Commission for
Racial Equality, former Vice-Chair of the Society of Black Lawyers)
- Local community leaders and Police officials have also been invited
to
speak at the event - exact names have not yet been confirmed
- First hand accounts from victims of Police brutality, including, for
the first time in public, a Muslim man who was held in Belmarsh Prison
for over a year based on intelligence provided by his local mosque,
brutally assaulted by prison guards at Belmarsh, then later released
with all charges against him dropped
- Multimedia presentations displaying evidence of Police brutality

strictly no admittance to the event for Under 14's, either alone or
