Parents in our society prefer their daughter to get married with their nephew. And for this, very usual they compromise on many things. Even their nephew is less practicing, low financial stability and lesser educated. The reason is, they do not want to take any risk in giving daughter to a stranger.

Perhaps cousin marriages do not end in divorce as often (I don't know) but they are not immune from divorce. When cousins get married and then divorce, it can be especially hard on the entire family.
