they would be in the language of the eople they were brought to. Many of these languages are most likely dead. We know Jesus (AS) spoke Aramaic, and that language is on the verge of extinction, he (as) was the second to last messenger, sooo the previous books, which are lost, are surely dead.
Wait, where did you get that there were 104 revealed texts? I always thought it was simply the Torah, The Gospels, The Pslams of David, and the Qur'an. I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure that it was only the descendants of Abraham
that were given actual texts--the other prophets
simply received knowledge of the oneness of Allah
.
What is destined will reach you, even if it be underneath two mountains. What is not destined, will not reach you, even if it be between your two lips
Im not sure of the number 104, but I know books other than the torah, injeel and quran were sent to variuos messengers. Hz Idris (AS) received a book, Hz Adam (AS) received a book.
from my memory, these books wer not extensive. They consisted of short basic moral lessons like the Ten Comandments sent to Musa (AS), they wer not as comprehensive as the torah, injeel, and Quran.
Just because the name Adam is used in Arabic, does not mean it is an Arabic derived name.
And how would the time of year these sahifat and kitab were sent dictate what language they were in?
Lets take the Injeel for instance, there is no evidence from any religion including ours that Arabic was used at all. If it was , how would the occupants of Jerusalem kow what was being said?
The TOURAAT (OLD TESTAMENT) was given to Hazrat MOOSA (Alayhis-Salaam).
The ZABOOR (PSALMS) were given to Hazrat DAWOOD (Alayhis-Salaam).
The INJEEL (NEW TESTAMENT) was given to Hazrat ESA (Alayhis-Salaam).
The HOLY QURAN, the final Book of Allah was revealed to Hazrat MUHAMMAD MUSTAFA .
Besides these there were many more smaller Kitaabs revealed, e.g.
10 Sahifas were revealed to Hazrat ADAM (Alayhis-Salaam ).
50 Sahifas were revealed to Hazrat SHIES (Alayhis-Salaam).
30 Sahifas were revealed to Hazrat IRIS (Alayhis-Salaam).
Between 10 and 30 Sahifas were revealed to Hazrat IBRAHAM (Alayhis-Salaam) (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon all of them).

Q: How many books has Allah Almighty sent down?
A. Allah has sent down books and Sahifa [pl: Suhuf] (little books) to many Prophets the exact number of which is only known to Allah and His Beloved Prophet. Of all these heavenly books four are very prominent i.e. Torah which was revealed to Prophet Moses, Zabur (the original Psalms) to Prophet David, Bible (new Testament) to Prophet Jesus and the last one which is the highest and best is the Glorious Qur-aan which Allah Almighty has gifted to His Darling Elect Hazrat Muhammad (may Allah's choicest blessings & peace be upon him).

Q : What is Sahifa?
A. Sahifa [pl:suhuf] are little books or leaves which Allah Almighty sent down, before the Holy Qur-aan, for the guidance of humanity at large. These Suhuf contained good tidings, admonitions and guidelines to regulate life.

Q: How many Suhuf were sent down and to which Prophets given?
A. The exact number of Suhuf is known to Allah and His Choicest Prophet only but what we know is that some Suhuf were revealed to Prophet Adam, some to his son Prophet ****, some to Prophet Abraham, some to Prophet Idris and some Suhuf were also revealed to Prophet Moses.

"Speaking what is good is better than silence, and silence is better than speaking evil."
Were these actual books or were they oral teachings? It seems far more likely that they would be oral in nature, especially if we're talking about Adam'srevelations.
