Walk to Jumma prayer to gain IMMENSE reward for every step taken!

By going walking for the jumu'ah salaat, one gets the reward of fasting (nawafil fast) for one year for every step that he takes. (Tirmidhi)

    1. Jummah preparations should begin on Thursday such as clipping the nails, removing of the hair etc (Ihya aul-Uloom, vol. 1, page 161)

    2. To have a bath (Ghusl) (Bukhari, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah)

On one Friday, Rasulallah said: “O Muslims! Allah Ta’ala has made this day a day of Eid. So have a bath on this day, whoever has perfume should apply it, and use the Miswaak. “ (Ibn Majah)

    3. To use Miswaak (Ibid)

    4. To use Attar (Perfume) (Ibid)

    5. To wear nice clothes (Abu Dawood, Chapter of Ghusl on the day of Jummah)

    6. To proceed early as possible to the Masjid for Jummah

The Virtues of reciting Surah Kahf on Fridays:

"He who recites Suratul Kahf on yaumul Jumuah (Friday), Allah will shine a light for him between the two Fridays." [Baihaqi]

Abu Darda' (Ra) related that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, " One who memorized the first ten verses of Suratul Kahf will be secure against the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) . Another version says: "One who commits to his memory the last 10 verses of this surah will remain immune from the Dajjal. [Muslim]

This recite can be recited from after Thursday Maghrib up until Friday Maghrib.

May Allah enable us to recite this blessed Surah very Friday. Ameen

    Taking a bath on Fridays

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Ghusl (taking a bath) on
Friday is (strongly recommend) for every Muslim reaching the age of puberty."

Making plenty of dua during Jumma especially in the last hour

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) talked about Friday and
said, "There is an hour (opportune time) on Friday and if a Muslim gets it
while praying and asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely
meet his demand." And he (the Prophet S.A.W) pointed out the shortness of
    that time with his hands.

The angels standing at the gates of the Masjid on Jummah

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "When it is a Friday, the
angels stand at the gate of the masjid and keep on writing the names of the
persons coming to the masjid in succession according to their arrivals. The
example of the one who enters the masjid in the earliest hour is that of
one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one
offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg
respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels)
fold their papers and listen to the Khutba."

Reciting Surah Kahf on the night or day of Jummah

From Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri, who said: “Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the night of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will stretch between him and the Ancient House (the Ka’bah).” (Narrated by al-Daarimi, 3407)

“Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.” (Narrated by al-Haakim, 2/399; al-Bayhaqi, 3/2249)

So let us make the effort to recite this Surah every Jummah either in the night or day of Jummah to gain these immense rewards.

Forgiveness of sins from one Jummah to another

Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever does ghusl then comes to Jumu’ah, and prays as much as Allaah decrees for him, then listens attentively until the khutbah is over, then prays with him (the imam), will be forgiven for (his sins) between that and the next Jumu’ah and three more days.” (Muslim, 857)
