Thumbs up Re: my cupping experience.

Alhumdulillah, I also had my first cupping session on Wednesday! I read it was sunnah to have it performed on the 17th, 19th and 21st of the Islamic Month (wed was the 19th). It was long overdue...

I went with a friend a couple of years ago, to see what it’s like and masha’Allah the brother is top class. Muhammed Wali is a hijamah / cupping therapy expert and even teaches this science in St Georges Hospital, Tooting. He’s extremely professional, very hygienic - he does not re-use / resterilise the cups, each patient has new cups which are binned are the end of the session. He has 21years of hijamah / cupping experience.

His sessions are normally £40 session (possibly less for those not working). The session lasts for 45 / 50mins per person, this is regardless of no. of cups. He does one cup at a time. There are no large marks / visible cuts.

His students also include a sister who lives in the Tooting area that can perform cupping for sisters.

Give him a call if you’re interested. Muhammed Wali 07841688810

i went for the big cup. my cuts are about 3cm long. about 10 cuts per cup. the cuts are very shallow. almost like a scratch.

the marks fade in a week or 2. they are not permanent.

What about bleeding after the cup is removed, does it still continue to bleed a lot and thus soil your clothes?

    Assalaamoalaykum-w-w
The long term benefits for cupping are tremendous. Diabetes, Cholesterol Build Up, Migraine, Rash (Sceoriosis), Gangrene, Rheutmatism etc are some of the illnesses it cures.(Excuse -spellings.)
By the way some Hakeems use Leeches (Yuk) to carry out the same therapy. But cupping is a sunnah. Beautiful! MashaAllah!
In the rouse of the new awakening and global "Islam-asization" will the world be more chaotic or will there more love and tolerance?

A lot of kaffir doctors in Herbal/Chinese medicine practice cupping.

Is there anything wrong with having cupping done with them?

    bro

the cuts are very shallow and they only really bleed when the vacuum created in the cups draw the blood out. after the cups are removed it stops bleeding straight away.

    dont know bro.

its better not to eat before cupping. some say for 4 hours before some say all day before the cupping.

it is better to brsikly walk for 30 mins after to get the blood circulating and to prevent internal clots.

whilst the cupping is performed then you can have sweet liquids or honey water to counter the drop in blood sugar levels to prevent fainting.
