Each speaker and their bayan mentioned something important.
Shaykh Imtiaz ur Rahman Thanvi (db)'s bayan was amazing. I had never heard him speak before. He is the imam at Bellmore masjid, in case you didnt know. The way he talked that muslim 'men' today are unfortunately really not men at all. That the real men were the sahabah who always had deen as their primary concern like leaving behind their businesses once the azan had been called, etc. That particularly hit me up.
The naat by Br. Amjad Qureshi was so emotional and eloquent. Anyone know its lyrics?
All along Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmed's (db) bayan, I kept hoping he continue to talk and talk but it had to end, didnt it.
I thought he was speaking just to meI was so surprised that he knows so much about the concerns of today's youth.
