ANSWERED: hadith question

i have heard a hadith of the prophet, peace be upon him, and wondered what the actual words are and which collection it belongs to. it goes something like:

'i was called to an alliance in the age of ignorance, and if i was called to the alliance now (in the age of islam) i would respond to that call'
