Default Al-Qiraa'atul Wadihah: Your impressions and and my questions

    As salaamu alaykum.

What are everyone's thoughts/impressions about the reader "Al-Qiraa'atul Wadihah" (http://www.albalagh.net/bookstore/?a...ew&item=0989)?

I see that it is included in the syllabus of Darululoom Deoband so this has sparked my curiosity about its merits and how it compares to other popular readers like "Qasas an Nabiyeen" and "Al Qiraatur Raashidah" of Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi.

How would you guys say it compares to the two works mentioned above? Is it roughly on the same level in terms of difficulty as "Al Qiraatur Raashidah" (which is more difficult than the Qasas books) or is it "easier"? Additionally, would you prefer one over the other? Would anyone recommending doing Al-Qiraa'atul Wadihah in addition to "Qasas an Nabiyeen" and "Al Qiraatur Raashidah"? If so, in what order should the above three texts be studied? Or would it be overkill to study all three?

If some of my more knowledgeable brothers and sisters could share their thoughts, experiences, impressions, and admonitions, I would appreciate it.

    Jazakallahu Khair.

    Wa'salaam.

As Salaamu Alaykum brother. In my opinion, I think that Al-Qiraa'atul Wadhiha should be done first. It helps you learn Arabic words and sentence structure. Compared to this, Qasas is much more advanced. I haven't really done Al Qiraatur Raashidah yet. Hope it helps.

I find that quite surprising. Perhaps I should purchase Al-Qiraa'atul Wadhiha because I thought that it was possible more advanced than Qasas, not less so.

    Thank you for your help.

Anyone else care to chime in?
