And, behold, with every hardship comes ease verily, with every hardship comes ease Hence when thou art freed from distress remain steadfast and turn to thy lord
The Prophet (PBUH)Said : “Whoever does not pray ‘Asr, all his good deeds are cancelled out.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (528)]

Assalamu alikum,
This book deals with kalaam (theology) and Islamic beliefs. I found this book to be a simpler version of the book Fiqh al-Akbar. I suggest that beginners should not read this book as details and other concepts might confuse someone. One can learn beliefs from the beginning section of Reliance of the Traveller (available for download) or other simpler books like Talimul Haq (also available online). Later one can read this book. Also before reading this book it might be better to read the beginning section of the book Ascent to Felicity (I have not read it - its in shipping - but I feel it should be good). One can also read Aqida Tahawiyya and listen to the Aqida Tahawiyya lectures by Mufti Abdur Rahman Mangera on www.zamzamacademy.com
Aqaidul Islam is also available online for PDF download. You can browse it there first and then see how you feel about it. I don't have the link now but if you search on www.scribd.com you should find it.
So even though I feel this is a good book - it might not be completely suitable for beginners.
Thank you for your reply![]()
