    Default Tricep Workout

    Salaam

    need a good tricep workout, any brothers who can give me tips?

    my triceps look flat, i want them pumped up inshaAllah

    You can do push ups on your knuckles while your hands are close together but your body needs to be conditioned for that.

    There's another one where you use a chair with your arms behind you and your body is facing forward/upward. They're called tricep dips and no weights are needed.

    If you have dumb bells you could position them behind your head and lift up and down with your forearms.

    The easiest one is the dips for starters. Make sure you don't try anything without conditioning yourself first.

    If you have weights at your disposal, nothing will enlarge (and empower) your triceps like close-grip bench presses. A close second are "Skull Crushers".

    But believe me, I have exercised since I was 12 (and am now 27) and done powerlifting, American Folkstyle Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, boxing, and brazilian jiu-jitsu and nothing, I mean nothing, gives you t he type of power and size in the triceps that close-grip bench presses do.

    As for a routine or workout, I wouldn't be able to recommend anything unless other elements of your training routine were also posted here so I could give recommendations on how to integrate a triceps workout into your overall routine.

    currently my workout is close flat bench, and pulling down the weights....

    not alot i know, but i dont like training triceps, its a boring workout, but i'm starting to see the disadvantages of not training it..

    i forgot about tricep dips, they are very good, i will try that abundantly
