Default Hadith translation "risks", and hadith database in English?

Does anybody know of an online English database of ahadeeth, including (for current purposes) Kanz ul-Ummal?

A current project I'm helping with contains a vast number of rather obscure ahadeeth, in Turkish. The sahih and well-known ones are easily handled - there are excellent English translations all over the web - I just check the references and track them down online. Then there are some which I can't seem to find even via keyword, especially as the keywords in Turkish could translate to several different words in English. I wondered if anybody knew of an extensive search-by-English-keyword hadith database?

Most important question - if I am unable to find a good ready-translated English version of a hadith, is it acceptable to translate from Turkish into English? I am extremely pressed for time, and have been allotted no budget at all (otherwise I'd probably try to hire an SF scholar to help!!). Once or twice I translated the hadith from Turkish into English, as literally as possible, before stumbling upon an Arabic to English translation online, and I was happy to see that the secondhand translation was almost word-for-word identical to the first-hand translation. In terms of akhirah, how much risk is involved if I translate to the very best of my abilities?

Divine help means to have enough strength to do good deeds, when one intends to do.

kanzul ummal is the largest collection of ahadeeth still preserved...it was compiled by shaykh ali muttaqi al hindi. However with regards to authenticity of certain ahadeeth I think there are issues...the best man to comment would be our own muhaddith mufti Husain saheb who is a master of hadeeth.

Why not translate, and then have a scholar check over it before releasing the translations to the public?
