Default Authentic Seerat of Rasulullah (S) in pdf ?

Assalaamu Alaikum. I was wondering if anyone can provide me some links to authentic biographies of Rasulullah (S) in pdf or any other ebook form for free download. Jazakallah in advance.

Here is a copy of The Sealed Nectar; it's not my favorite seerah of the Prophet mainly because it seems to focus less on him as a person, and more on his actions, but it's still pretty good: http://d1.islamhouse.com/data/en/ih_...led_Nectar.pdf

I would go with Martin Ling's Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earlierst Sources; the writing is a bit more solid than that which is found in other seerahs, although I don't really like that he uses "thees and thous" in his quotations from the Qur'an and hadiths. You'd have to go to a torrent site such as Islamictorrents.com in order to download it.

Bro, seems like you know your stuff w.r.t torrents etc.. Can you tell me which is the best 'islamic' torrent site in your view? I seeded something on islamictorrents. net (because it was first in google search results) but when I posted the link here it was '***********'d out. Is there something dodgy about it? Is islamictorrents.com better?

Jazakallah. I did start to read The Sealed Nectar some time ago, but just like you said, I couldn't really attach myself to the person of Rasulullah (S) through this book. For most part of the book it seems to be more interested in the campaigns of Rasulullah (S) and focuses a lot less on his character and personality and moral values. But it is a good book with a lot of info.
Thanks for the other suggestion too. but I'm gonna look for it somewhere other than torrents. torrents never seem to work for me for some reason. Jazakallah again.

Maybe try to borrow "The Jurisprudence of the Prophetic Biography & A Brief History of the Orthodox Caliphate" by Sa'īd Ramaḍhān al-Būṭī from the library.

This is the site I actually meant (.net); there's nothing fishy about it, it's just I think the forum generally discourages using torrents and the like. BTW, I'd recommend using uTorrent (found here: http://www.utorrent.com/) for downloading. The program doesn't bog down your computer like other torrent programs such as Azeurus (or whatever they call it now!) do.

I've never read this particular book, but I have heard very good things about it and it seems to focus more on the Prophet's character than any other book I've seen. It's a two volume set:

    Second: http://www.sunnipubs.com/index.php?p...mart&Itemid=10
