Haiz and Fasting

Salamz,

If a person fasted then noticed brown haiz 2 hours b4 iftari , but it was really less, less than a 50p coin size, then at iftari tym (5mins b4), like a drop or twoo, of blood as well, they completed the fast thinking the blood needs to be the size of a 50p coin to be classed as haiz..but didnt pray asar salat..
so does that mean the fast was broken? or did they have to complete the fast? and do they need to do qaza of asr salat?

Period started as soon as you saw the brown haidh, therefore you don't have to do qadha of 'asr salah, and you'd have to re-do that fast.

Theres no such thing as 50p coin size. As soon as you see even a drop of blood, or coloured (abnormal) discharge, haidh has started.
