some questions regarding jamaat need answered please

Hi,

if two people to pray jamaat zuhr prayer.

what are the rekhats to pray with imam and then afterwards how many rekats should be prayed individually and are they fard or sunnah.

and the one with imam is this fard and sunnah and hw many rekats are there.

can i pray nafl as well.

and does the imam has to recite in louder voice or not.

Salam,

It is the sunnah to pray 4 rakat before the jamat individually.
You should pray 4 rakat (fardh) with the imam.
The imam does not recite out loud during zuhr.

Salam,

The 4 rakats sunnah you pray before the jamat is considered a strong sunnah and shouldn't be missed. You can pray 2 rakat sunnah after the jamat too, although I believe this can be missed if you choose. You can also pray nawafil if you like, which is of course very beneficial, but not obligatory.

Generally speaking, all fardh rakat for all prayers are prayed with the imam. So it' up to you to pray the required sunnah prayers yourself.

So summarize all that for you:

Fajr: 2 sunnat, 2 fardh (with imaam who reads loudly 1st 2 rakaats)
Zuhr: 4 sunnat, 4 fardh (with imaan who reads softly), 2 sunnat, 2 nafl
Asr: 4 sunnat, 4 fardh (with imaam who reads softly)
Maghrib: 3 fardh (with imaam who reads loudly 1st 2 rakaats), 2 sunnat, 2 nafl
Esha (easiest method): 4 fardh (with imaam who reads loudly 1st 2 rakaats), 2 sunnat, 3 witr

In simple - While nafl are "okay" to be missed - sunnats are not encouraged to be missed - and witr and fardh and 2 sunnat of fajr should Never be missed!
