Your fast will be valid even if you do ghusl at midday, however it is mukrooh (disliked) to do so.
What is destined will reach you, even if it be underneath two mountains. What is not destined, will not reach you, even if it be between your two lips

you must take a bath before you pray fajr. one of the conditions of salaat is to be paak. you namaz will not count if you dont.

She probably already knows that, this is why it is Makrooh as one is unable to conduct any virtuous deed whilst in a state of impurity.
