Assalamu aleikum
If I will pray behind a Shafi'i imam and is asked to do iqama, should I say it in the Hanafi way or the Shafi'i way? (i.e. should I say lines such as "hayyā alā-s-salat" once or twice?)

How do we do it in our school? I thought that we say it once, isn't that right?

From what I've heard it should be the same as athan, except that "Qad qamat al-salah" is said twice after "Hayya 'ala al'-falah."

But maybe there are different opinions?

I think you have to say it according to your school, not the imam's school. In the Hanafi madhhab, you say it just like the Athan, save for the two "qad qaamatis salah". At my masjid (Hanafi imam), we sometimes have a Maliki brother say the iqama and he performs it as it is performed in the Maliki madhhab: repeating everything once, except for the takbeerat and "qad qaamatis salah".
ياايها الذين امنوا اذكروا الله ذكرا كثيرا

the iqaamah is sunnah so it shouldnt make a difference to the imaam but sometimes it would be best to inform the comunity as to why you doing it if they dont know. if your madhab isnt strict on iqaamah then there should be nothing wrong with you doing it as a shafi' either. but in terms of the hukum on the hanafi iqaamah i would like to hear what the alims say on the forum.
& if they could also give a reference for it. a hadith, I would like to know.
