To Him we Must return: Ilm is taken away by the death of the Ulema

Inal Lilahi Wa Ina Ilaihi Rajiun

It is with great sadness, and at the same time joy (due to the rank they recieved), that we were informed by our brother Sayyid Usman (Usman on the forum) of the Martyrdom of some of our great Ulema:

In a severe traffic accident at Ahsanabad (Super High way) Karachi, Shaikh Al Hadeeth Mufti Amir Tabba, Maulana Ayaz Ahmed Kashir and Nasrullah Sahib, have received the status of the Shuhadah (martyrs) - Alhamdulilah!. A very close servant and close murid of Hazrat-e-Aqdas Mufti Rasheed Ahmed Sahib Ludhyanvi (Rahimahullah), and the Imam of the Masjid of Darul ifta' wal irshad, Maulana Sultan Aalam sahib (Hafizahullah) has been severely injured. All readers are requested to make special dua for his recovery, and long life. May Allah give him the best of health, and grant him longer life. Amin.

as saying: Verily, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people but He takes away knowledge by taking away the scholars, so that when He leaves no learned person, people turn to ignorant as their,leaders; then they are asked to deliver religious verdicts and they deliver them without knowledge, they go astray, and lead others astray.

Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajioon. A great loss indeed. May Allah Ta'ala reward the noble ulema with jannatul firdaus and the status of shuhada and grant their family, friends and followers sabr in this testing time.

Brother Syed Usman also mentioned that Maulana Sultan Aalam sahib's - Hafizahullah - condition is quite critical and the injuries are really shocking, details are best left out. May Allah Ta'ala grant them full recovery, Ameen.

May Allah bless the martyrs and May Allah give us more people who impart Deen's knowledge to us. Jamia-tul-Rasheed is serving islam in an excellent and progressive manner , like by providing a link between graduates and the madarris. May Allah help them continue their duty even without these worthy ulema.
Maulana Sultan Alam sahab's articles about last days of Hazrat Mufti Rasheed Ahmad Sahab Rehmat-ullah-e-ta'ala, in Dharb-e-mumin news paper, were really heart touching. May Allah give him health. We need people like him in this world
