Forgiveness

I haven't been speaking to my younger brother ever since the day before Eid as we got into an heated argument.

Anyway I will like to forgive him but will Allah accept my forgiveness if I do it in writing?

The reason I ask is because I want to strengthen my Imaan, I am inclined to hear other people's opinion regarding this matter.

Side note: He is very annoying and arrogant so if I do succumb I know that deep down he'll think that he won. (yeah I know it's no excuse)
