According to the Hanafi Fiqh, it is impermissible to recite a Quranic Verse during Salah except after Surah Al-Fatihah.

The scholars have, therefore, stated that one should recite Allahumma after Durood Shareef and then recite any Du'a from the Quranic Verses i.e. adding Allahumma to the Du'a.

For e.g. 'Allahumma Rabbana Aatina..' or 'Allahumma Antas Salaam...' or 'Allahumma Rabbij 'Alni...'
