Adding "Allahumma" to the final dua of Salah?
I found this on another forum. Is this correct?According to the Hanafi Fiqh, it is impermissible to recite a Quranic Verse during Salah except after Surah Al-Fatihah.
The scholars have, therefore, stated that one should recite Allahumma after Durood Shareef and then recite any Du'a from the Quranic Verses i.e. adding Allahumma to the Du'a.
For e.g. 'Allahumma Rabbana Aatina..' or 'Allahumma Antas Salaam...' or 'Allahumma Rabbij 'Alni...'

Where did you read this ? After the Durud Ibrahimiyah in the Tashahhud we may read every duaa from the Hadith or Quran or even form our own duaas.
Imaam Abu Hanifah (rahimahullâh) said: "Stick to the narrations and the way of the salaf, and beware of the newly invented matters for all of it is innovation" (Sawnul Muntaq of as-Suyuti pg.32)

Bukhari :: Book 8 :: Volume 75 :: Hadith 338
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:
Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said to the Prophet, "Teach me an invocation with which I may invoke (Allah) in my prayer." The Prophet said, "Say: Allahumma inni zalamtu nafsi zulman kathiran wala yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta, Faghfirli maghfiratan min indika war-hamni, innaka antalGhafur-Rahim."
