I doubt very much the names which you quoted Subki , father or son? or Haytami.... allowed seeking madad/help/isthaghatha/protection from helpless creatures of Allah.
Can you please quote the exact text. Show us, where they have said, it is allowed to seek help from dead creatures like saying YA SHAYKH BARELWI COME AND RESCUE ME OR YA SHAYKH AYDAROUS / JIFRI GET ME A JOB OF $100,000 / month ! or YA AJMERI BABA etc.etc.etc..blah blah blah..
You might have noticed some misguided barelwis / habaib say Nar -e- Haydari which is "YA ALI MADAD" , why not seek madad from other sahaba like Khalid ibn Walid or Salman al-Farsi or Julaybib or Abdullah ibn Masud ? Same goes for Prophets, why not seek madad from Musa or Isa ( who is alive ) or Adam . May Allah be please with all of them !
Show me, who approved this kind seeking help from dead creation and not Allah who is the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE !!
Don't get yourself confused between isthaghatha and Tawasul. Some of the misguided people have twisted the meaning of tawasul to isthighatha !
