Default Haqqani Naqshbandis VS Salafi Movement

An interesting defence of the Haqqani Naqshbandis written by Sh. Hisham Kabbani in response to the 19 page booklet produced by the Salafis entitled "The Naqshbandi Tariqat Unveiled" [see http://islamicweb.com/beliefs/cults/...i_unveiled.htm ].

Imam al-Zarqani said in his book Manahil al-Irfan: 'Our Scholars agreed that if a word carries 99 aspects of disbelief and one aspect of faith, it must be interpreted according to the best of meanings, which is faith'.

Actually, it would be more suitable to understand why did i see murids doing ruku'(MUCH MORE THAN WE DO IN PRAYER) to their sufi shaykh ????????????????????????

I am not speaking of anyone specifically, but I believe certain sufis have done more damage to tasawwuf than salafis ever could.

Some murids simply do not know what to do. This is why ilm is very important. I have met Shaykh Hisham and he greeted me and i didn't do any ruku towards him. Simply shook hands with him. I was very skeptical about Shaykh Hisham but when my lataif went crazy I simply could not even say anything about the Haqqani Naqshbandis anymore. Only thing i come to find out majority of the murids are baya tabbaruk. They are al hamidullah alot of new converts and learning about islam and others who just like tasawwuf in general. Instead of critisizing one should sit in a majlis and see how you feel.

Brother Tazkiyah knows what he's talking about.

Let me tell you he follows Shari`ah extremely strictly. May Allah reward you Tazkiyah with his gardens.

JazakAllahu Khairan for your reply brother Tazkiyah. Just to let you know that i saw them on video, it wasnt something i heard. It wasnt Shaykh Hisham Kabbani or Haqqani. It was another sufi shaykh who is part of the haqqani tariqa. The murids were sitting in the majlis, and each person came up and did ruku' to him. If he is a sufi shaykh, should he tell them not to?

Sorry to say brother, but i highly disagree with you about not critizing. Ruku' to humans is very very dangerous. You are correct though, that maybe i shouldnt criticize since im not any better.

lol, many people claim to be apart of the Tariqa, the only Shaykh is Shaykh Nazim. his only two Deputies are Shaykh Hisham, and Shaykh Adnan. everyone else are Muqaddams with ijaza to Give Bayah and lead Dhikr only. If he is allowing this he is clearly not following our Tariqa. And I personally witnessed someone do Rukuh To Shaykh Hisham and Shaykh Hisham told him to never do that again.

    Was salaam

Really?! Therefore is this why taswauf and sufism are given a negative image, and not just by the salafi movement?
