Eat Halal, Leave Haram !!!

Interesting topic. My question is what is Halaal and what is haraam? In the UK there are many authorities, some of these authorities allow the stunning of an animal before it is slaughtered the correct way, is this halaal? Its confusing here in the UK, there are many authorities all have their own ideas and ways of delivering halaal food, even to British restaurants claiming to be halaal.

The Halal status you have given to starting E-Numbers are not correct because many non technical people ignore the fact that the same colors when used as liquid became Haram because the use of Haram solvent such as emulsifiers from pork fat and glycerin from pork fat. Although Turmeric is Halal as is but in reality it is not sold as 100% turmeric in food industry in USA(same thing in Europe), Polysorbate 60 or 80 a fat based emulsifiers is added if it is from pork fat then Halal original ground turmeric became Haram. This fat based emulsifier Polysorbate 60 or 80 is called processing aid ingredient or hidden ingredient to turmeric and will not declare on ingredients statement.

So it is not easy to provide Halal status to those E-Numbers, the manufacturer of those E-Numbers has to be investigated to find out any addition of Haram hidden ingredients. Muslim Consumer Group has published the list of E-Numbers on their website based on the knowledge of ingredients and food industry experience.

This is only an effort from brothers to guide away our fellow muslim brothers and sisters from consumption of Haram stuffs and if there are some mistakes from this reseach, what is expected of you is correction with your knowlege by releasing your own version of the list.

There has never been anything Haram on earth without the alternative of Halal.....

i will advice evryone to follow the saying of the Prophet of Allah(PBUH) that:

"Halal stuffs are clear and Haram stuffs are also clear but if there is a dought between the two, its better to abscond in order not to fall on Haram path"
