    Default Maulana Mahmud ul hasan



    I want to read the biography/autobiography of Maulana Mahmud ul Hasan deobandi in either english or urdu. It should have a detailed account of the his rebellion against the British and his imprisonment that follwed in Malta..

    Everyone should read the 2nd book above (Prisoners of Malta). I read the book from cover to cover in a couple of days - just can't put it down. These people were true Mujahideen and such Kaamil individuals.

    The other book is certainly not as easy to get into but still good.

    I do not buy books online....can you guide me to a free online source...I mean where can I read or download it??

    Arent u frm Pakistan? Im sure u shud be able to find The Prisoners of Malta there.

    No sorry I don't know anywhere online - I've never seen an electronic version of it.

    Yes I am in pakistan....but I have a habit of reading books online...and the only islamic bookstore that i know of in my city is (Islamabad) is Darusalam....I doubt that they will have it....lastly i have this sudden impulse to search for a book and read it and if i dont find it in a couple of days the desire to read it dies out.... for posting the wikipedia links but i have read them...I'll look for the book at darusalam I think...
