    Default Is my Ghusl "valid"?

    Salaam,

I've recently performed ghusl, but I think whilst doing so, I might have accidentally incorrectly completed a part of wudu. By this I mean I'm afraid I may have only washed one of my feet twice instead of three times and then gone on to the other foot. Is my ghusl invalid because I possibly missed that step?

    Thank you in advance.

Just make sure you have washed your entire body and fulfilled the obligations of Ghusl according to your school of thought. If an obligation is not omitted, but a sunnah was omitted, it wouldn't invalidate your ghusl.

    And Allaah knows best.

FWIW, I don't think washing the feet 3 times is an essential act in any of the madhaahib.

If you're a hanafi, in the hanafi madhhab there are 3 essential acts:
Gargle the mouth such that water reaches everywhere.
Wash the nose (inside) upto the soft bone
Pour water over the entire body (not even a hair's breadth of the body can remain dry)

another thing not mentioned in the step was that all najasah should first be removed from the body & anything which would prevent the water from making contact with the body should be removed first, such as paint.

the wajib parts in the shafi madhabs are the intention & wetting the entire body with purifying water. the niyyah is made as the first drops of water touch the body. & not before that.

it isnt invalid... as washing the feet 3 times isnt a fard part of wudu.

    Its a sunnah.

So long as you have completed the fard parts of wudu then it shouldnt be invalid Insha'Allah.
