When should one stand up during Iqamah?

When should the muqtadis ((Muqtadi: one who follows the imam in congregational salah.)) stand up for salah in congregation? Should they stand before the iqamah begins, when the iqamah begins or when the words hayya 'ala al-falah are reached? The answer to this question lies in the practice of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) and the Noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them).Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) would render the adhan for Zuhr after zawal (i.e., when the sun reaches its zenith or midway point). He would not say the iqamah until the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) emerged from his quarters. When he emerged and he saw him, the iqamah would begin. (Muslim)

Muslims can stand at Allahu Akbar and they can stand at Hayya 'alal Falaah. But it would be better for the Muslims to stand for the truth. WS

I read this fatwa to a question whether it is makruh to stand wait during iqamah is given:

In Sharh al Wahdati it is said from at-Tajnis and al-Mazid; ''If a person enters the masjid when the muezzin has begun the iqamah, the person will sit and will not wait while standing. Because the iqamah is not with full meaning the time for beginning salaah.'' In the same work this is narrated from Fatawa al Hujjah; ''It is makruh to stand waiting during iqamah.''

But is not all time better if we wait standing if we enter mosque during adhan or iqamah because of the hadith that we should not sit in the masjid before offering 2 rakaats ?

Imaam Abu Hanifah (rahimahullâh) said: "Stick to the narrations and the way of the salaf, and beware of the newly invented matters for all of it is innovation" (Sawnul Muntaq of as-Suyuti pg.32)

mashAllah, i love it when i read Fiqhi masail's . All four Aima's have their daleels. If would've been in a madrassa i would've mastered this subject.
I wish your name to be engraved in my heart
I will be grateful to you change this dead heart
My heart is dark and so my eyes remain dry
Hypocrisy and hubris wont let me cry
So change my heart and forgive my sins this day
Dont leave me drowning here alone and astray

In Fatawa Hindiyya it states if someone enters the masjid when the iqamah is being announced, it is makruh to stand waiting. He should sit and stand at ''Hayya ala'l falah''. Mudhmarat.

From the above it is evident that he should stand up together with the congregation.

What is the ruling when one enters during the Adhan ?

How do you want to perform salat in less then say 20 seconds as the iqama takes about 20 seconds to announce ?

Yes the question would be should we not wait standing when one enters mosque during iqamah/adhan as Rasulullah said not to sit before offering 2 rakaats.
