Dar al-'Ulum in Bangladesh

Does anyone know of a Deoband or Nadwa-type Dar al-'Ulum in Bangladesh that,

1. Teaches in Urdu/Arabic

2. Is strong in Fiqh and Hadith

3. Accepts foreign students ?

1) hathajari - chittagong, about which deoband ulama tell bangladeshi student who come to deoband : why dont you study in hathajari.

I am Zahid, studying `alim course in Madrasah Darur Rashad (MDR) in Mirpur, Dhaka. I prefer adult brothers (specially foreign) to study in my Madrasah. The reasons to invite you are followings:



1. The principal (muh`tameem) of my MDR is Mawlana Muhammad Salman Nadwi [dm], who is one of the senior Khalifa of Greatest Scholar Syed Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi [rahmatullah`alayhi].

2. Our `alim (mawlana/taq`mil) course duration is 5 years whereas Dhalqanagar, Jatrabari, Hathajari etc renowned madadis take almost 12 years to complete `alim course. MDR doesn't teach Persian (Farsi). MDR syllabus is very strong in Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Fiqh, Hadith, Tafsser etc. 'MDR' arrange weekly discussions (speech/debate) in Arabic, Bengali and English to train students in these languages.

3. 'MDR' locates in one of the prime locations of Dhaka city so that students can get modern facilities of the town.

4. 'MDR' have many experienced teachers who studied in Darul Uloom Deoband. Few of our teachers have Islaahi ta`alluk with Shaykh Hazrat Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhter Sahib [dm] and some with da`wat o tableegh.

5. 'MDR' welcomes foreign students and provides special care like personal room, toilet, food n other facilities in low cost. Currently a British student is studying 3rd year in MDR.

6. 'MDR' doesn't have any involvement with political/terrorism groups. 'MDR' follows the Usool/Tarteeb (guideline) of Darul Uloom Deoband.

Finally b4 ending, I'd say that if you r an adult (18+ ) student and interested in`alim course within short time then Madrasah Darur Rashad is the right institution for you. Thank your for asking. I am in 1st Year studying Mizan, Nah`w, Arabic, Urdu, Fatwa memorizing etc. 'MDR' uses Bengali language for Bangladeshi students. Don't know about foreign students.
