Sons of Maulana sarfraz khan safdar

....from defending the hanafi fiqh in front of a learned ahle hadith scholar that came to my home today, the discussion somehow went to Allama Sarfraz khan Safdar (the scholar told me he was a sheikh ul hadith of the hanafi deobandi group)...I have also read something about him on this forum as well as some material that was sent to me by bhai Saad of this forum....anyways the real point was about his sons supporting ghamidi and his magazine al-ishraaq....can anyone please tell me are his sons on their father's footsteps and is the allegation true??

yes brother, not Hazrat's sons but his grandson Amaar bin Zahid Al Rashidi is a follower of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi?

There is another Deobandi Mufti , Faisal Khurshid, who claims to have studied in Dar Ul Uloom Karachi , coverted to "Ghamidism". He defends many of Ghamidi's individual positions. I think the Ulema should take a notice of it as more and more people are getting attracted to Mr.Ghamidi these days.Mainly , Ghamidi is known as a "Munkar i Hadith" but i think that will not solve the issue as he is completely a different entity from Ghulam Ahmed Parvez. GAP was a continuation of the naturalistic and deistic thought of Sir Syed Ahmed khan while Ghamidi is the continuation of the modernist and assertive thought of Hameed Ud din Farahi and Ameen Ahsan Islahi with a slight blend of Maududi's impact on Ameen Ahsan and Ghamidi.This specific thought has gone almost unnoticed and un-refuted scholastically.

Ghamdi has been refuted and very strict notice was taken of Ammar by his uncle i think Maulana AbdulQuddus Qaran sb dbh in one of his writings in Alsharia..

I actually met him in Karachi. He was giving all sorts of reasons for defending Javed Ahmad Ghamdi...

Why would it be amazing that the grandson of a great Deobandi `Alim would fall into deviance? Didn't Imam Abu Hanifa's grandson become a Mu`tazili?
