these should be removed, it is a copyrighted work and the shaikh who authored it believes in copyright and relies on it for income. The work itself isnt just a pure translation of umdat al salik shaykh nuh has done a lot of work to clarify and reference it.

No other English work comes close in terms of referencing ancillary sources and texts as well as indexing to this. Whether you believe in copyright is not an issue every individual deserves to earn for the work they have done and doing anything that harms that is itself against Islam regardless of madhhab.

you have gone from A [islam] to Z [an individuals ijtihad [base meaning], effort, labour work, striving] in one step. the reliance is not Islam itself so your words are an exaggeration, intellectual effort and striving is a part of an individuals work and labor and takes no less effort than physical labor and all labor deserves to be compensated for which is a basic principle in Islam.

is the reliance of the traveller the words of Allah or ahadith or did work and effort go into preparing the work, i don't think you comprehend what it takes to put together a work such as this and more than likely assume the shaykhs of islam simply open up sahih bukhari and pick the relevant hadith and that is your ruling on the issue.

re-read my words again this is not a simple translation of a work, i own the work and have looked into it carefully it is much more and is essentially the work of shaykh nuh based on Umdat al salik. Have you seen the work your self to know what i am talking about and referring to?

just to reiterate i am talking about harming an individuals right to earn from his labor and work, denying the existence of any labor or work is ignorant to say the least.
